Writing in French! Mon auto-portrait!

NOTE: We will work on this in class Friday.  Everyone should have a rough draft checked by me by the end of class Friday! The final version will be due Monday, Nov. 5th.

The homework for the weekend is to write a composition in French about yourself (faire un autoportrait). Your composition should be typed (double-spaced), in 3 paragraphs (minimum, 5 maximum), total length about a page to a page and a half long.

In the first paragraph introduce yourself (Je me présente..), and give some basic information (describe yourself age, nationality, ethnicity), where you live,

In the second paragraph talk about your classes. Mention aspects of your personality (use adjectives on 62 & 88). Talk about your likes and dislikes, hobbies, and other things you would like to express about yourself. Add on details that make it more individual.

In the third paragraph mention anything else you feel is important to know about yourself.  You could talk about  the types of clothing your prefer to wear (pg. 64-65) etc…You can add a conclusion, perhaps ending with a question for the reader.

You are always encouraged to be creative, however,  STAY within the bounds of the language you have learned thus far : )DO NOT be overly ambitious in terms of verbal tenses and complicated structures. DO NOT USE Google translate for this assignment (quelle horreur!). DO use everything– the vocab, verbs, and structures we have learned thus far! DUE MONDAY, typed., double spaced.  Late assignments will be penalized!
